Connections

Expose supported operations from your business system.

Start with REST/OpenAPI

The current reviewed journey configures a connection, validates supported API descriptions and authentication, discovers operations, and checks readiness before Chat uses them. Importing a specification does not guarantee every endpoint is compatible.

Credentials

Where authentication needs a secret, the Gateway encrypts credential material and scopes it to the organization. Configure only the access needed for the operations you intend to expose. The connected system remains the source of truth.

Other connection paths

The codebase also contains MCP and connector infrastructure. Available transports and supported vendors must be checked against the current connection configuration and verified for your deployment. This guide does not certify arbitrary APIs, GraphQL endpoints, databases, or vendor integrations.

Before requesting a change

Inspect the discovered capability, required inputs, permission grants, policy, and execution binding. Validate reads first, then review and verify a change using a test system.
