Policies and approvals

Permission checks and configured policies are evaluated by the Gateway. Policy behavior depends on the capability, organization, user access, and configured rule; the model cannot grant itself authorization.

Review the proposed operation

When confirmation or approval is required, inspect the operation and its parameters before proceeding. Required approvals are reviewed in the dashboard. Notification delivery must be configured and qualified for the chosen channel.

Decision and execution

Approval permits the requested operation to proceed; it does not prove that the operation completed. Check the execution outcome and relevant Audit evidence, including failures and recovery instructions.

Prototype boundary

OpsPilot demonstrates policy review using synthetic data and a public role selector. Its role demonstration is not the authenticated authorization model of the AI Ops Gateway.
